Solar Pool Skimmer Models & Buying Details
Beatbot iSkim: Basket, Screen, Wi-Fi and Charger
The current standard Beatbot iSkim shares Ultra's nine-liter basket, 24-watt panel and 10,000 mAh battery, but not its full feature package. Standard iSkim lists a 550-micron screen, random and edge-cleaning with smart rerouting, 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth, and a separately sold adapter. Ultra's side brushes, planned paths, clarification system and magnetic charger do not carry over.

Adapter availability depends on bundle; not the Ultra model.
Check current price ↗The standard model has its own filter and navigation
Beatbot lists a nine-liter basket, 550-micron filtration, a 24-watt solar panel and a 10,000 mAh battery. It advertises a maximum of approximately 28 hours without sunshine under laboratory conditions. That is a stated battery-runtime result, not continuous solar operation in every pool.
Beatbot describes random and edge-cleaning paths with smart rerouting. The current comparison FAQ says standard iSkim supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth, while Ultra specifies 2.4 GHz plus Bluetooth. Keep those network and navigation claims attached to the correct model.
Add the adapter if backup charging is part of the plan
Solar charging is built in, but Beatbot says the external adapter is sold separately unless a retailer creates a charger bundle. Its current page is internally inconsistent on timing: the specification table says approximately five hours through the 64.4-watt adapter, while the FAQ says approximately 4.5 hours. Treat the range as documentation guidance rather than a promised charge time.
The manufacturer specifies salt up to 5,000 ppm and chlorine no higher than 4 ppm. Exact temperature limits were not confirmed here and should come from the supplied manual. Confirm replacement-basket availability and seller-specific warranty conditions along with the charging equipment.
What would make Ultra the more relevant comparison?
Ultra keeps the nine-liter capacity but lists 380-micron filtration, planned paths, dual side brushes, 2.4-GHz-only networking, magnetic charging and a clarification function with a separately sold agent kit. The same manufacturer comparison assigns Ultra an 18–20-hour battery claim versus up to 28 hours for standard iSkim. More Ultra hardware therefore does not mean the longer stated no-sun runtime.
For either model, check basket emptying and retrieval around your steps or narrow areas. The specifications do not quantify comparative coverage, retained debris or how often you will need to intervene.
Common questions
Does standard iSkim include the wall adapter?
The manufacturer's page says the adapter is sold separately. Check the exact bundle before ordering.
Is this the same as iSkim Ultra?
No. They are separate models with different filtration, navigation and accessory arrangements. Use the full product name when comparing specifications.
Can standard iSkim join a 5 GHz network?
Beatbot's current iSkim comparison and support material include 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth, while excluding 6 GHz. For initial trouble on a combined-band router, Beatbot recommends trying an independent 2.4 GHz network first.
