Beatbot iSkim Ultra: Basket, Brushes and Charging Explained
Beatbot iSkim Ultra and the current standard iSkim both have a documented nine-liter basket. Ultra instead differentiates itself with 380-micron filtration, dual side brushes, planned paths, 2.4 GHz app networking, magnetic charging and optional clarification. Those are separate decisions; the Ultra name does not mean a larger basket or prove better cleaning in every pool.

Beatbot lists a nine-liter basket with 380-micron filtration, dual side brushes, a 24-watt solar panel and a 10,000 mAh battery. The same manufacturer comparison describes planned paths and 18–20 hours of battery operation for Ultra, versus random cleaning and up to 28 hours for standard iSkim. These are manufacturer statements, not a matched runtime or coverage test.
Choose Ultra to investigate its finer stated screen, edge brushes or planned path—not for extra storage. Standard iSkim also lists nine liters but uses a 550-micron screen and guided wheels instead of Ultra's side brushes. Neither mesh figure promises complete pollen capture, and neither route description quantifies missed debris.
Its network and charger are also model-specific
Ultra's product FAQ specifies 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and says its magnetic wireless charger is included, with an approximately five-hour charge. Standard iSkim supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz plus Bluetooth, and uses a separately sold adapter unless the retail bundle expressly includes it. A dual-band router can work with Ultra only when 2.4 GHz is enabled.
The clarification function requires an AquaRefine agent kit that Beatbot lists as sold separately. Include that consumable only if clarification is part of your plan. Do not transfer Ultra's magnetic charger, side brushes, clarification hardware or 2.4-GHz-only network specification to standard iSkim.
Infinity pools change the navigation claim
Beatbot says infinity pools do not support Ultra's usual pool scanning, edge cleaning or S-shaped pattern; the robot uses DeepSense mode instead. Confirm that reduced behavior before choosing Ultra specifically for its planned path or edge hardware.
The manufacturer specifies salt up to 5,000 ppm, chlorine no higher than 4 ppm and a two-year warranty. Exact operating-temperature limits were not verified from a directly hosted manual in this review. Check the complete offer and applicable warranty terms with those limits in view.
