Betta Parts and Service: Identify the Right Repair Route
Identify the exact Betta model and the coverage provider before buying a part or shipping the robot. Betta's current site uses one service form for warranty claims, out-of-warranty service and parts requests, but compatibility still depends on the named part and model. Collect the label, serial number, invoice and symptom first; registration alone is not repair authorization.

Betta part and service route by component
Use the narrowest compatibility statement available. A brand match or similar connector is not enough.

Match the part to the Betta model
Use the label on the robot, its serial number and the part’s compatibility statement. Betta’s motor-rotor listing names multiple compatible models but specifically excludes Betta 2. A similar appearance or shared brand therefore does not establish a match.
If the exact model or part number is absent from the listing, ask Betta to confirm it through the service-and-parts route. Keep that confirmation with the order rather than relying on a marketplace photograph.
A part listing is not a repair diagnosis
Describe the symptom before naming a replacement: for example, repeated left turns in open water, supported by a short video, rather than a presumed broken motor. Include the owner checks already completed and whether the problem began after cleaning, a collision or service.
Ask whether the proposed replacement is an owner procedure or service work, and obtain the applicable preparation and installation instructions. Betta directs battery problems to service. The existence of an online component listing does not authorize work inside a sealed unit.
Use the provider named in the coverage documents
Keep the receipt, seller and purchase date alongside any protection-plan document. Betta currently describes a one-year standard warranty and says the customer pays return shipping under that standard route. Its same page also separates Amazon ASURION coverage from Betta claims. Do not combine those obligations or assume an extended plan changes the standard route unless its own terms say so.
The current Betta page is internally inconsistent about the geography of Betta Care: its comparison table says United States and Canada, while the detail rows say United States only. Confirm eligibility for the purchase country in writing instead of choosing the more favorable sentence. Common questions
Can I order a part that looks identical?
Appearance is not enough. Match the exact Betta model to the part’s compatibility statement or obtain written confirmation. Betta’s rotor listing, for example, excludes Betta 2 even though it names several other models.
Will Betta handle every retailer protection plan?
No. Betta's current terms say Amazon's ASURION extended warranty is handled by Amazon. Use the provider named on the plan and keep the invoice, plan and case number together.
Does the SE / SE Plus basket fit Betta Neo or Flex?
The retained exact basket listing names only Betta SE and SE Plus. Do not transfer that compatibility to Neo, Flex, Swift or Betta 2 without written confirmation for the exact part number.
